Group Therapy

At Open Hands Christian Counseling, we believe healing happens not only in personal reflection but also in community. Group therapy provides a safe and supportive space where individuals can share their stories, learn from one another, and discover they are not alone in their struggles.

Each group is guided by a licensed therapist and shaped around themes such as anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma recovery, boundaries, and personal growth. Within this setting, participants gain practical tools, receive encouragement, and experience the power of walking alongside others who understand.

Scripture reminds us of the importance of community: “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11). Group therapy embodies this call, creating a place where encouragement and healing flow both ways—each person giving and receiving support.

Together, participants learn that while their journeys are unique, they are never meant to carry their burdens alone. In group therapy, hope is multiplied, resilience is strengthened, and God’s presence is experienced in the gift of community.
