Graduate Students (Trainees)

At Open Hands Christian Counseling, we believe in investing in the next generation of counselors. Graduate students working toward licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) are invited to join our training program to gain supervised clinical experience.

Post-Graduates (Associates)

Open Hands Christian Counseling is seeking compassionate and motivated Associate-Level Clinicians to join our growing team. This position is ideal for those pursuing licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), or Clinical Social Worker (ASW) who desire to gain supervised experience while serving the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to a diverse caseload of clients

• Conduct intakes, develop treatment plans, and maintain progress notes

• Collaborate with a team of clinicians and community partners

• Participate in supervision, case consultation, and staff meetings

• Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional integrity

Qualifications

• Current registration with the California BBS as an AMFT, APCC, or ASW

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field

• Strong commitment to serving individuals and families with compassion and excellence

• Ability to integrate clinical skills with holistic, faith-informed care (training provided if needed)

• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
